Being a peaceful sort, it felt a little strange to be making a cartridge belt, but I have seen it as something of a challenge.
Made with English oak bark bridle leather. With hand stitched open loops, each stitched individually with waxed linen thread, this bespoke belt recycles the customer’s own buckle and accommodates 12 x 0.222 rifle bullets and 20 x 12 bore shotgun cartridges for a Drilling gun. This is a combination gun that has two shotgun barrels and one rifle barrel, used for hunting a variety of game and are popular with gamekeepers.
It has taken longer than I had thought to stitch each loop but I’m rather pleased with the end result. Worth all the extra effort!
